Common Interest in Music Leads to Opportunity to Share the Gospel

MikeMike enjoys music and playing his guitar. During the week, Mike had the opportunity to play popular music on his guitar for "a name that tune game." In one of the schools, Miek met Oliver. Oliver had a Pink Floyd shirt on and Mike approached him in the hallway because Mike had an interest in the group's music.

Oliver was in the next classroom that Mike's group spoke to. Mike had got to know Oliver a little bit more. But he forgot to invite Oliver to an outreach on Friday or invite him to meet later at Burger King. But Mike saw God's providence in that Oliver and his friends ended up coming to the same Burger King after school. Mike had the opportunity to tell Oliver about the Battle of the Bands and share a quick overview of the gospel after going through a spiritual interest survey.

In March, Jeff led a mission team of 9 teenagersand a Campus Crusade for Christ staff member to Budapest, Hungary. The team spoke in different Hungarian high schools each day and built relationships with students they met in the classes.

They also invited students to a Battle fo the Bands outreach at the end of the week. Over 600 packed into an old movie theater. It was the second largest outreach the Hungarian ministry has done.
