Waiting for God to Reveal Himself

Conversation at Battle of the BandsDuring the Battle of the Bands Outreach, Lindsey (second from the left) and Melissa (far right) spent the evening with 2 girls that they had met at a girl’s party a couple days before. Although the girls most interested in talking about boys, Lindsey and Melissa were able to turn the conversation to God and Lindsey was able to give them booklets with the gospel presentation.

One of the girls mentioned that she was waiting for God to reveal Himself to her much like He had done in Melissa’s life. Melissa had shared her testimony a couple of days earlier at a girl’s party. Lindsey was encouraged to hear that the 2 girls were very interested in attending the summer English camps sponsored by Campus Crusade. During that camp, the girls will hear the gospel many times as they build relationships with the American Christians who will staff the camps.

In March, Jeff led a mission team of 9 teenagersand a Campus Crusade for Christ staff member to Budapest, Hungary. The team spoke in different Hungarian high schools each day and built relationships with students they met in the classes.

They also invited students to a Battle fo the Bands outreach at the end of the week. Over 600 packed into an old movie theater. It was the second largest outreach the Hungarian ministry has done.
