Stories from Budapest Spring Project 2006

God Can Help Me Too

AnnaThis story is from Anna, in her own words. Anna's parents are on staff with Campus Crusade. She regularly babysits Katy and Ryan and she was on the SpeakOut Project with us last summer.

"I had the opportunity to share my testimony along with the gospel at a girl’s only party we held.  Afterwards a girl named Eszter came up to me and thanked me for sharing my story.  She told me that she has been going through some really difficult circumstances lately and my story brought her hope.  She said that if God could help me, then God could probably help her too.  Of course he can! After talking some more I told her that I would be praying for her. At this point I never expected to see Eszter again, but the next day God happened to place me not only in her school, but also in her classroom, one hour before she left for her senior trip!  I talked more with her after class and told her that I really had been praying for her and will continue to."

In March, Jeff led a mission team of 9 teenagersand a Campus Crusade for Christ staff member to Budapest, Hungary. The team spoke in different Hungarian high schools each day and built relationships with students they met in the classes.

They also invited students to a Battle fo the Bands outreach at the end of the week. Over 600 packed into an old movie theater. It was the second largest outreach the Hungarian ministry has done.
